Morning Fuzz is a Brooklyn, NY based melodic rock outfit exploiting the talent and showmanship garnered by Frank Fussa and Chris Johanidesz, both former members of Ultra High Frequency. After extensively touring the East Coast with fellow Long Island rockers Brand New, the band launched a successful cross-country tour that resulted in a year long Los Angeles, CA residency. Fussa cultivated his songwriting throughout. In early 2008, Fussa and Johanidesz returned to their New York roots to focus on the driving, catchy, dance-invoking rock that they have developed as seasoned recording and performance artists.
Morning Fuzz offers a fresh take on the songwriting Fussa developed as the front man of his previous projects. An upcoming EP highlights Fussa's dynamic and layered singer-songwriter approach, calling to attention his Brian Wilson-esque capability of song crafting. The music of Morning Fuzz showcases Fussa's incredible vocal range and orchestral guitar playing paired with Johanidesz's rock-solid bass section.
