Overwegend Zeelui

About Me

Overwegend Zeelui is the music project of Felix van Cleeff, a young man formerly known as Wan Fei Li who likes photography, cinema, music, literature and ambiguety. He is originally from Holland, but currently resides in China where he spends his days teaching Mandarin to Hebrew kids. But he'll be back in the Netherlands before you can say: ta daodi zai nar? Anyhow, at the moment Felix is writing some songs (you can find them in demo form on this site) which he'd like to perform with a full band when he returns to the Lowlands. He envisions it as a collective, whoever wants to play and has an interesting way of approaching music is welcome to join (as long as we don't end up with 5 drummers!). It doesn't have to be a permanent band and the sound of the songs can change with time. These demos were recorded with the help of Stefan Breuer, Lisa Oppermann, Katun Luc and Loren Stiteler. Thanks!
