About Me

How do you marry the Industrial textures of a Nine Inch Nails with the poetic melodies of a U2, and tie it together with the beauty of Chopin? We steal, when we call it borrowing, and never more evident than in today’s musical climate. I would like to think that while we borrow from here and there, we as musicians pay homage to the very spirit that adds life to our dreams, our hopes and our desires, for even in our most original hour, it is amazing to reveal in how transcending sound is from one to another. It is the classical pianists and Hymn writers that have transpired most heavily in me.
It was with this musical pallet, and a few dozen songs, that I entered 2007 looking for a direction, however, sometimes life creates that direction for you, and with a fist in the back, unashamedly directs you where to go. Before the year came to close, my musical journey did travel to the darkest of places, but through the ruins of despair, rise the ashes of desire.
It was late January of 2008 that I entered the studio with good friend, and amazing Producer/Engineer Jeff McCullough, stocked with a catalogue of material. Over the next six months, we tracked and recorded nine songs of what is now “Industrial Pop.” My vision was to marry these musical textures and elements I previously spoke of. To capture as much of what will pour out of me that others who came before me have previously seeped into my musical arteries – strong, Industrial percussive patterns, rich orchestration, simple arrangements, and sweeping melodies.
I will see you soon.
