First off, my close friends are the most important things in my life. I'd be nowhere without them. And I suppose, nowhere is still somewhere, but ultimately, nowhere isn't a place I'd like to be. I can't thank them enough.
I've just recently graduated from NM Tech in Chemical Engineering. I don't thing that the finality of graduating has really sunk in yet. I'm looking for jobs around the US (and outside i suppose) until I can get into a PhD program for graduate school.
I love food (although no one would ever know since I'm a toothpick!). I'd rather go out to a dinner that takes all evening, then go out and do multiple things. I often spend hours having tea with good friends, discussing all sorts of topics. I love to cook, and often blog the stuff I cook (in case you're interested).
Dancing is one of my favorite things to do. I love going out all night in the deserts of NM and dancing the whole time under the stars, until my feet hurt so much I can barely stand up.
I actually enjoy doing laundry. I like watching the clothes go round-n-round, and the smell is wonderful. I love smells (thanx Claire!). They're one of the first things I notice. I know all my close friends smells by heart, and just their scent can bring me comfort. I have a big shnoz for smelling stuff too, so it works out! :P
So far I've discovered that I'm an atypical thinker. Which isn't to be confused as a statement of individuality, since I dont really think that individuality, or even the individual even exists. Rather it's simply an observation I've made while conversing and interacting with others. My mind works in ways that people rarely relate to. Topics of conflict tend to be love, truth, religion, self, ego, development, and the general nature of reality.
I love philosophy, and being exposed to new and diverse perspectives. I consider myself to be generally accepting of most people and their viewpoints, even if I don't agree with them (and I rarely do). I have a hard time understanding people whose perspective is clearly limited. And that's something I'm working on.
Lately, I've been immersing myself in the world of trans-psychology/sociology. This area of metaphysics has me captivated, as I think it is the best model for understanding that I've come across. I believe that understanding is the key to transcending our suffering, and through communication we can understand each other.
All seriousness aside, I'm just a silly goofball. I can find entertainment in almost anything.
