About Me

The Michael C. Jennings Project was formed in 2004 as an on-going collaborative effort for the production of Jazz, Jazz Fusion, R&B, Pop and Hip-Hop styles.
As a National Recording Artist in the 1980s, Michael C. Jennings gained experience performing and recording with some of the music business' best talents and pioneers, such as Leroy “Sugarfoot” Bonner of the “Ohio Players”, and subsequently Roger Troutman of “Zapp Featuring Roger", two Ohio-based bands.
During the period of 1979 to 1983, Michael toured with several well-known acts. Some of these artists included: Cameo, New Edition, The GAP Band, Midnight Star, Kool and the Gang, Slave, BT Express and Confunkshun
The Michael C. Jennings Project has benefited and learned from these Old School musical styles and gifted musicians of the 70’s – 80’s music era. Through its production house, MiJen Productions, the Michael C. Jennings Project seeks music and lyric production and collaborations with some of the hottest singers and bands in today's music industry.
