I'm a fan of original horror, and I find it stupid that I have to clarify that now due to this stupid generation. "oh remakes! cgi! waahh!!" ... It's pathetic and annoying, not to mention, by this point, redundant. I'm into classic horror, really before the internet existed because back then, a movies rating had nothing to do with a persons opinions. Now it's like kids will sign onto websites like IMDB and just claim a movie sucks to have something to do. Still, there is hope for horror, it's just hard to say I can put my trust in Hollywood at this point. When I want to see a good movie, I rent films not made in USA. I'm a very big fan of Japanese horror films, introduced to me by my love, Kat. I tend to hate movies just full of big names, because while there are very few actors that stand out from all the others, I could really care less about Hollywood slaves. I tend to disagree with a lot of people, and love the things they all hate. Not because they hate them, but because I see what they can't, and that's why they hate it. I love films with more to offer than just 'tits and blood' which sadly seems to be where the horror genre is heading. Horror should not be an excuse to see such filth, if you want that, just go illegally download some porn. I hate people who say "I only like the new stuff cuz emo rawks!" ... The new stuff, for the most part, is all shit. Replacing Robert Englund as Freddy, or Tony Todd as Candyman? SHIT! And as for all this silly little emo nonsense? 'emo' is nothing more than a stupid little trend that doesn't know what it wants to be, so it has to leech off of a little of everything else, including stealing converse shoes and thick black glasses from the 1950s, safety pins and crazy hair styles from Punk, and most of all, black clothes from Gothic styles. I Can't tell you how many times I've been called this 'emo' annoyance, but I could probably give you an estimated list of victims-- I mean, people who have inaccurately mistaken me for such a false, pathetic, kiddy little trend. To call someone something, precisely because someone who is trying to hard to be something they're so obviously not, is trying to copy everything about them, is just failure of judgment. I often post on IMDB under the name The_Gemini_Killer, taken from the novel Legion, which it seems like no one ever even acknowledged until they learned about it from me, yet something else taken.
