The FILTHY SWEET ?

The FILTHY SWEET was founded by husband and wife, Noelle and Arleigh. Writing music together since their third date in 1998, they discovered they had a transcendent combination of catchy riffs, searing melodies and potent lyrics. After 7 years writing and developing songs together (then later launching their acoustic band SUPUL in 2003) the Bass/vocals & guitar duo has formally become a trio in 2005, with the addition of Oliver on drums. The trio played out for a successful run in LA Clubs from 2005- 2006. Going on hiatus at the end of 2006 and rethinking the band structure, they are finally BACK in 2008 with a new kick-ass drummer, Mike, and thumping bassist, Ben. Now as a quartet, the group is ready to take on the world!
The FILTHY SWEET sound is built on the great shoulders of those before them: GARBAGE, CURVE, GOSSIP, KAISER CHIEFS, BRAVERY, the CURE, the SMITHS, the MOTELS, MADONNA, ROMEO VOID, SOUXIE & the BANSHEES, DANDY WARHOLS, RADIOHEAD, LUSCIOUS JACKSON and many many others.
