About Me

To Write Love On Her Arms - Intro
What do you want to know. My life is an open book. Im getting OLD!! I graduated Campbell University with my degree in Mathematics and minor in religion. And now im am going to Campbell University Divinity School to get my Masters of Divinity degree! WOOT WOOT!! God has gotten me this far...and as long as I continue to serve and honor Him, I trust and have faith that he will get me through another 4 years!
I am now the most amazing youth minister at Lees Chapel OFWB Church. It was hard switching churches, but it was definately a good decision. The people at Lees are AMAZING!!! Oh and did i mention the YOUTH??? There are no words to describe them sometimes...simply awesome!
I got ordained in July 2007, so im now Rev. David Gaddy...still looks so awesome as a title, but it is definitely more of a calling.
I'm a referee and supervisor for Campbell Intramural Sports and Recreation (basketball, flag football, softball....)
I'm livin for God. Period, end. He's the one that created me and helps me to survive. I've been through a lot of trials and tribulations and I can only give JESUS MY SAVIOR the glory for pulling me through. I still screw up and fall like any other person on Earth. But in the end, I know that I will see the face of the Father and that keeps me going! As i have grown, I realize more and more that our lives have to reflect who we serve. We need to be living examples of what a Christian is supposed to be!! And so my life's mission is to care, to love, to help, to lead and guide, and to be an example!!
I love doing crazy stuff like you see on Fear Factor cuz fear is not a factor for me!!
And im proud to say that I AM A CAROLINA HEELS FAN 4 LIFE!!! GO HEELS!! ;)

Looked down from a broken sky
Traced out by the city lights
My world from a mile high
Best seat in the house tonight
Touched down on the cold black top
Hold on for the sudden stop
Breath in the familiar shock
Of confusion and chaos
All those people going somewhere,
Why have I never cared?

Give me your eyes for just one second
Give me your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missing
Give me your love for humanity
Give me your arms for the broken hearted
Ones that are far beyond my reach.
Give me your heart for the ones forgotten
Give me your eyes so I can see

Step out on a busy street
See a girl and our eyes meet
Does her best to smile at me
To hide what's underneath
There's a man just to her right
Black suit and a bright red tie
Too ashamed to tell his wife
He's out of work
He's buying time
All those people going somewhere
Why have I never cared?

Give me your eyes for just one second
Give me your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missing
Give me your love for humanity
Give me your arms for the broken hearted
Ones that are far beyond my reach.
Give me your heart for the ones forgotten
Give me your eyes so I can see

I've Been there a million times
A couple of million eyes
Just moving past me by
I swear I never thought that I was wrong
Well I want a second glance
So give me a second chance
To see the way you see the people all along

LORD GIVE ME YOUR EYES
