"If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there."
Lewis CarrollHello, for those of you who don't know me my name is Lewis Carroll. You might have heard of my few books, and poems. Some of you might know me as Charles Dodgson. However I am a author, mathematician, logician, and photographer. Although I am a mathematician and other things I am well known for my children stories. I was born in 1832 and raised in the beautiful Daresbury, England. Some of my popular books are Alice in Wonderland, and Through the Looking Glass. Although my books have made me famous, there are many other things and accomplishments that have brought me to my current fame.
I was born as one of eleven children. Big family you think? My father was Reverend Charles Dudgson. I did most of my studies at the University of Oxford, where I gained many degress. I was raised in a very strict religious household. As a child I read mostly religous books, and looked up to my father tremendously. By doing this I wanted to follow in his footsteps, and become the man he was.
I was a very shy boy as a child. I had a horrible stammer that was very hard to deal with from time to time. My character and personality is where I think I derived the love and passion for writing and writing "nonesense" literature. Throughout childhood I wrote many different types of literature, but my nonesense literature is what has made me the man I am today.
I have lived a very long and detailed filled life to this day. Far to complicated to understand in one sitting, and have many people to thank for this. The two most important people would be of course my father and the wonderful Alice Lindell. I love children and Alice was one of the greatest young ladies I think I have ever known. She is the back-bone and partial creator of my works. I will have to admit that I have mixed feelings about my fame. If you would like to get to know me or hear the real story just message me. I am sure that this about me portion is just as mixed up and confusing as my spontainous poetry and stories.
