Formed during spring 2007 in Joliette, Québec, Rust is a progressive metal band. Rust feature David Pichette/Guitars (tribute to Megadeth), François Marois/Vocals (tribute to Korn), Martin Sincerny/Bass & backing vocals (Disembarkation) and Pascal Marion/Drums (Disembarkation, Necropsy, tribute to Korn, PLTC). Each member brings their own influences to blend it in a unique sound.
All arrangements made by the four members, this way ideas are more diversified and avant-gardist. The rich sound of Rust comes from mix of brutal metal to jazz, latin rhythms, with a progressive touch and melodic sound. Never afraid to explore differents musical avenues, Rust stands out with audacity and creativity giving a metal sound with no compromises.
