In Evolution

About Me

Corpse Garden is a Technical Death Metal band that was born in the early 2008 from the dissolution of a"gore / grind" band. It's name is interpreted as a "mental state" or a very personal perception of the world in which we live, viewed from the formation of the "garden" that covers the pain, happiness, pleasure, anxiety, prosperity, poverty, reality, intelligence, spirituality and overcoming a number of factors that shape the environment. Then the important part the "corpses" refers to each person interacting with the environment, and in any way troubles it. We believe we are all connected in one way or another, always interacting, and we need a fundamental balance of both, individuals and the environment. In some ways we are all in a "Corpse Garden", where everyone does things in a way that produces satisfaction. After several tests and constant changes in it's lineup the band established in October 2008 with Roberto Vargas (Growls), Fabian Salas (Guitar), Gabo Morales (Guitar), Esteban Solano (Bass) and Mauricio Harley (Drums). Already in 2009, and after a show series, Corpse Garden experiement a great change and evolution in it's sound where the root of it is still in old school death metal of the late 80's and early 90's, but at the same time adding more elaborate structures (technical and progressive) in their songs. For this period in July 2009, Mauricio Harley is replaced by Erick Mejia on drums, giving to Corpse Garden the sound they were looking for.
