Started in late 2007, Zero System was born as the brainchild of once then lead guitarrist of the Pluto Records band Bloodjinn. As his experiment in writing more melodic compositions Odell started to elaborate more, erasing, rebuilding, erasing rebuilding upon what would be a solid foundation to hold a balnce between melody and rythmic dischordance. Making the next step to mold the project into a live band Odell enlisted the help of Forsaken Recordings/KOCH band Anything on Fire's Justin Reich and Adam Cody (also of Century Media's Glass Casket) to bring the vocal dichotomy Odell required to reality. Once Reich's friend Trey harding entered the spotlight on drums and Odell's long standing friend Andy Joyce joined in on 2nd guitar the band immediately started to move forward. Now signed to the newly formed label Gold Medal Records, Zero System plans to release their EP by late spring early Summer. Hailing critical acclaim in the regional markets and with a steadily growing, loyal fan base Zero System is poised to be the next in line for winning over the hearts and minds of millions of potential fans with their true and raw approach to delivering honesty in music.
