About Me
THIS IS ME: I married the most wonderful person in the entire world on June 4, 2006. But before I was blessed with such a wonderful soulmate, I was raised in Virginia Beach by a couple of New Yorkers. I was cursing by the age of 9, which displeased my dad and amused my mom. I've been a cat lover my entire life - they might quite possibly be the most beautiful creatures that have ever roamed the earth. I had a happy childhood filled with dance lessons in a studio and wrestling matches on our living room floor. My brother was my biggest ali. He got in trouble, but we both knew who always started it. I've kept up appearances throughout my life and have managed to build wonderful friendships with my two grandparents who are still alive- and the two who are no longer with us. I've heard stories of WWII Concentration Camps and I've heard stories of late nights in American dance clubs during the 1930's. I haven't always made the best decisions, and there were many times where I thought with my heart and not my head, but everything I've done has gotten me to where I am now. Honestly, I couldn't ask for a better life.I HATE: cockroaches, boats, large bodies of water, any precipitation what-so-ever (it's the hair), people who don't take care of their animals (if you don't love it, why do you have it? pisses me off), people who buy animals from a breeder (don't breed or buy while homeless animals die), animal cruelty (visit www.hsus.org for more information on how you can make a difference), dogshit on sidewalks, my cats running out the front door, my left foot, having the most sensitive skin ever (wearing anything other than cotton is itchy. and i'm allergic to neosporin! who the hell is allergic to NEOSPORIN?), stomach aches, cooked celery in my food, eating or cooking red meat, grocery shopping, missing the train by 2 seconds, people who talk shit about my best friend on myspace, and people who just can't let things go.I LOVE: my husband Charlie, my kitty cats Bidge and Sneetch (especially Sneetch! and i don't care if any of you think it's evil that i like one cat better than the other.), my family and my friends, dancing, being married!, candy! candy! candy!, celebrity gossip (dlisted!), cats, all types of animals, my job, shopping, ebay (mostly selling, sometimes buying), etsy.com, eating out every night, dragonflies, red mango, cupcakes, chamomile tea, york peppermint patties, wasabi peas, fabulous handbags, big sunglasses, a great pair of jeans, cute little dresses, bingo, nataliedee.com, Burt's Bees Lip Balm, talking to my mom three times a day, stealing cool pint glasses from various restaurants and bars, 75 degree weather, playing Phase10, comfortable shoes, being able to walk to TARGET, orbit gum, POM green tea, having money, spending money, rats on subway tracks (it's NYC wildlife!), TUMS, sunny days, soft lips, lingering kisses.MY MOTTOS: Everything in life happens for a reason. What doesn't kill you will make you stronger. Be good to others and others will be good to you. Remember that karma is a bitch. Work hard and it will pay off. You make your own destiny- if you aren't happy, stop bitching and do something about it. Don't wait for things to come to you- sometimes if you want it, you just have to ask for it. What's the point of holding grudges? It only eats YOU up inside. Get over it and move on. Always hold on to your dreams- it's better to do something you love than to do something safe.
