In the winter of 1964 a rock revolution was beginning! There was much ado about an impressive band in way-out outfits who hailed out of Portland, Oregon...They were Paul Revere & The Raiders! It all happened thanks to one man Dick Clark who heard about the band and asked them for an audition in January of 1965. Dick liked what he saw and he decided to produce a show featuring the band called "Where The Action Is" and the rest is history! The original band back in the day featured Paul Revere on the Vox organ, Mark Lindsay yielding the microphone, the "twins" Philip "Fang" Volk and Drake Levin on their guitars, and finally tough little Mike "Smitty" Smith on the drums. The band mixed music and humor in their relationships with each other. Enter 2008, Paul Revere and the Raiders are still going strong and touring with a new line up of some original members and some new! They play gigs such as Dick Clark's Branson!
