..Depeche Mode? Strong competition!.. Well you get to hear from the guys of ..PROCRES.. in their own words. It’s difficult anyway to avoid direct comparisons with any kind of competitor, so why even try it? But after all what’s wrong with being compared with a band, that’s been playing on the world music scene successfully for more than 20 years?So let..s get to some of the differences and look back over the last 20 years. The 80s; Electronic music was the next major shift in music following Punk. It..s was also a time when keyboards finally became affordable. Some Marktredwitz school pupils ..Schubs.. – Michael Schubert (vocalist) and ..HG.. – Harald Goldmann (producer) took advantage of these circumstances, together with Stefan Seidel (former keyboards) and started making music together. In 1990 Rainer Mueller (guitarist, keyboarder and songwriter) joined the trio forming the first forerunner project of PROCRES a group called ..PROCLAIME... Their trademark: heavy beats and the “shouting” ability of front man “Schubs”.Since 1990 beyond the former boarders of East and West Germany another band was already creating a keen following audience ..RES.. (Risk Of Electric Shock). The project by the singer Karsten Kluge (vocalist and songwriter) and Juri Koecher (multi-instrumentalist and songwriter) whose musical background began in a Kirghizia music school. In 1995 the EP “Decision” was released, still remembered today by the radio listeners of Saxony.During the 90s at common gigs the two bands got to know and respect one another, circumstances in which many music lovers today also benefit. In 2000 another important East-West German reunification took place; Together with new drummer Ralph the guys of RES and PROCLAIME formed ..PROCRES... In 2008 they got to know another band member Gabi via the internet platform “MySpace” - where she..s known as "torn2be". After her exploration into many different styles of music, she..s returned back to her roots and supports ..PROCRES.. with her voice, guitar and song writing.Rainer, ..HG.., Ralph, Juri, ..Schubs.., Karsten and Gabi – when you get them all together in one room, there’s more than 100 years of musical experience. However you should not draw any false conclusions from this fact. ..PROCRES.. is a band, which today is creating and producing ageless catchy electro-rock – and this would appear with growing enjoyment when working together.You could have seen them supporting well-known bands like ..Blind Passengers.., ..Days of fate.., ..Still Patient.., ..Non Ego.. and ..Caught in the act...They..ve also played at festivals with ..Camouflage.., ..Funker Vogt.., ..Covenant.. and ..S.P.O.C.K....
