Since time out of mind, food has brought man together. Over meals laws have been made,lover discovered,and families bonded. It is no wonder, then, that a community of people could and would create their own recipe book. What started as a simple idea on a forum ( Brass Goggles )has become an all out literary project. The book will be published through Morris Cookbooks and will come out, hopefully,some time in July.
Some of you may be asking your selves what makes this book "steampunk"? It is simple really,just like the idea originally. The book is steampunk due to the large number of recipes in its pages,written,conceived,and cooked by steampunks. This may seem overly simplistic to some but i feel it is reason enough to view its contents as steampunk.
Along with the recipes being of a steamy nature,the images there in shall be as well. The profile image you see above will be the cover and is none other than the HMS Ophelia maned by the band members of Abney Park. Said band members shall also be making an appearance as well as the crews of the HMS Chronabelle the crew of the Amaranth as well as several of the images of Brass Goggles members.
