The earth is being ruined due to human overpopulation and everything associated with it – garbage, polluted water, global warming, habitat destruction, extinction of plant and animal species, etc.
Although most people want to procreate and pass on their genes, it is not always the best thing for the big picture. Just because you are human, it is not your “right†to have as many offspring as you want. Nor is it up to the rest of the population to provide sustenance for your spawn if you cannot!
Instead, it is your RESPONSIBILITY to contribute what is best for the earth and everyone else who lives here. We are the only species who depletes the earth of its resources while not giving back.
There is not a food shortage - there is a human surplus!

Things are out of balance, and we all need to take steps to take care of this planet, the mother of all life here. More resources are required for more children. Our resources are threatened. Having and nurturing more children ultimately threatens our survival as a species. More kids = more strain on the environment. More strain on the environment = our own extinction.
The earth is not endless in its gifts and resources!
HUMANS SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO PASS A TEST AND OBTAIN A LICENSE TO BREED! Licenses are required and regulated for much less important things. Just because you CAN breed doesn't mean you should or are entitled to do so. There is a cost, and everyone is paying.
This may seem radical to some people. So was the notion 500 years ago that the earth was NOT the center of the universe. Someday the assumption that anyone can just breed at free will, will be absurd, because the planet will not be able to sustain us while we disrespect and abuse her forever.
