The Give Them A Voice Foundation has been developed to help give a voice to the children and families who are affected by developmental disabilities, diseases, and other health issues. Too often these children and families find themselves at the mercy of conforming to what society has determined to be the "norm" for people in their situation. We hope to help them strive towards finding alternative care procedures and methods as well as finding ways to allow them to enjoy life experiences that many take for granted and that they may otherwise never have the opportunity to enjoy.
We hope to help them strive towards finding and promoting alternative care therapies and procedures and methods as well as finding ways to allow them to enjoy life experiences that many take for granted and that they may otherwise never have the opportunity to enjoy.
Give Them A Voice will accomplish the above by not only promoting alternative care therapies; but also Equine Assisted therapy, and Canine Assisted Therapy to the above community along with educating them on the benefits . All the therapies are that will be associated with Give Them A Voice will be beneficial by aiding in Speech , Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and sensory intergration therapies , along with Quality of Life Care and activities .
Give Them A Voice understands that this will require at times, rescuing both Equine and Canine Animals, and Rehabilitating them to aid in this particular endeavor.
Give Them A Voice understands that there are already rescues in place that they can support if conditions are appropriate for the community in paragraph one.
We also understand that some families in paragraph one have had many benefits cut and the cost of taking care of therapeutic animals may be impossible and they will need our continued support.
We also understand that by doing all of the above that we actually are a foundation that covers two important issues. We are aiding in a community that society often turns it back on , along with animals that are deemed unwanted and useless that society has also turned their back on.
Give Them A Voice will also consider funding other therapies and care that are requested by particular families whose needs may differ in various ways.
Give Them A Voice will enlist the online community as well as the local community in funding via fundraisers and donations.
