Known for his blazing speed and love of old school shred, Blake Rurik is a respected member of Vancouver's shred community. 'I love the passion, relentlessness and enthusiasm of the late 80's/early 90's shredders, but I find some of the metal trappings a little uninspired.Basically, I'm trying to find a balance between the relentlessness that I love and memorable tunes, without being too tasteless or cheesey.'
