About Me
This layout was created at Mylays.netHailing straight out of Newark, New Jersey , arises an up and coming unsigned artist named The Hustle Bunny. Born Ashley-Aurelia Taylor on September 21, 1988 she’s bringing in what Hip Hop lacks, a whole new style of music and creativity. When you first lay eyes on this 5 foot 2 diva, your definitely not thinking a rapper. She has the “girl next door†appeal, but brings out her true flavors in her music. The Hustle Bunny’s original style and impeccable flow will convince even the most ardent skeptic that the Jersey born lyricist is a strong contender for the crown. She is definitely that missing link that Hip Hop needs. At only 19 years old, she has managed to get herself heard by plenty of people in the music industry , mainly by tearing up the stages at well-known clubs throughout New Jersey and New York as a starter. “I might not be signed to a label yet , but I definitely make sure that my name rings a bell out there. These people actually know who I am and many of them definitely reach out to me. I make sure that I do a few shows each month in order to keep my buzz up. Everything that I have done so far has been accomplished be me, and only me. I book my own shows, write my own music, and set my own photo shoots. You have to know how to network and promote yourself. If you can’t do it for yourself, then who else would make an attempt to help. Honestly I prefer it like that. I see myself as a go-getter. I have a lot of potential and I know how to get what I want out of life. And mark my words, this is only the beginning. “Her title sometimes has many people confused. Does she sell drugs? Is she out in the streets? Is she a ruckus? “I decided to name myself The Hustle Bunny first and foremost because I hustle and its just that simple. I make many moves in a effort to get myself out there. I make sure I network with many promoters in order to book shows. I try to seek out advisement from well known artists to make sure that my music has great quality, and I simply demand attention. I My name has no negative terminology. It simply defines who I am as a individual. You have to realize that people want to see you and get a sense of who you are as a person so I knew right away that was the perfect name. Anyone who knows me on a personal level knows how much I am always involved in these so called “projects“, which are actually small steps that I take in order to get my name out here even further. The Bunny aspect of it just comes from me being quick, fearless, sly and always on my feet.â€Now with her highly anticipated mix tape is soon to be dropped in early September, The Hustle Bunny will show the world just how talented she really is.
“Its crazy, because I started off recording my music on my computer . I would upload any beats I had from a free music site , edit and lay down my songs using Audacity, and then export them as mp3 files. I was my own engineer . (she laughs) . That alone shows how much of hustler I really am. I was unconcerned about being in a studio, I just wanted to make good music. My music is very different from a lot of female artists out here. I’m more on a scenic person so I try to paint pictures with my words and make my listeners feel as if they were really with me at a particular place and time,. it’s a tool to use because allows people to envision. You can listen to basically any song that I have and you will gain something out of it, whether its about my struggles in life, the world, or a topic that I feel needs to be addressed. want to show people how different I am from the average female artist. With this mix tape coming out soon, people will be able to gain a better sense of who I am as a person, as well as an artist. I say that I am different because I incorporate that so called “classy, sexy, sassy†attitude into my music while still remaining to keep my swag. You have many females artists out here that forget about incorporating their inner femininity even though they rap. They come into the game possessing that male aggressiveness, come off violent, and speak about how they live in the hood. I came from nothing and I know what its like in the streets, but my goal is to push away from talking about how tough I am, how many men I sleep with, or how many guns I carry. Its crazy because only about 1 percent of these females actually live the life they talk about and I laugh at them.â€â€œStay tuned because I definitely have a few new projects that are about to surface. Once again I’ll state that its only the beginning, I will be the next big thing out of Jersey, as my successes do come in tenfold.â€
