What is re.connection?
re.connection is a project where music of international artists signed on the Dutch label World Connection is remixed by Dutch artists/producers. In this series re.connection presents three limited edition 7" good old fashioned vinyl singles and a full album on cd.
re.connection Vol. 1 is the first single (out on March 31 2008) presents remixes of a pumping balkan beat version of Šaban Bajramović' song 'Djeli Mara' by C-mon & Kypski and Dutch producer Perquisite featuring Pete Philly have created a hip-hop crossover of the song Bole2Harlem (by Bole2Harlem) that takes you form addis Abeba to NYC and back to Haarlem, the Netherlands..
re.connection vol. 2 is expected to be released on May 26th and presents a remix of Tito Paris’ ‘Tchapeu di Padja’ by Easy by Aloha’s feat. Benjamin Herman and also a very sunny version of the song ’Vermelha’ by Neco Novellas with some groovy touches by Sotu the Traveller feat. GMB & Zwazi.
