Pyrrhic Press was established by Beverly Noland Schlee in 1988. The name came about because, after making every possible mistake, only half of her first limited edition survived, a Pyrrhic victory of sorts. The ratio is a little better now. The Press recently moved into its newly redecorated studio in the Arizona desert. Most presswork is done on a Vandercook 4, and we also have a full bindery.
