About Me

{} MyGen Profile Generator We make a noisy urban racket that sometimes makes you dance and sometimes makes you scratch your head. Either way, we make you. Make us make you.

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: www.myspace.com/asbjorncollective
Band Members: Bernard LeVautour - vocals, guitar, beats, bass and chaos.

MacAlastair Ming - things with strings, spooky ceramic slide.

Mauz Deadalive - bass, live electronics manipulation, impromptu percussion, backing vocals.

Sara Jane - synth, noisemaking, backing vocals, image-capturing.

A circus-cast of additional collaborators, an eccentric entourage of sorts, tends to come and go as needed, or as they please. This is the life and dirt of the city.
Influences: The beautiful juxaposition of the pretty and the dirty, where both are intrinsically necesary for the other to exist.

Metro-Grime, in all its facets.

The glittery mud of urban life.

The sorts of cities that this sort of thing makes sense in.
Sounds Like: We sound like our city. We sound like the essence of Metro-Grime. We sound cocky, sexy, dirty...

We sound like something that will make you dance.

Sometimes avant-garde-ish and expirimental, sometimes just noisy, almost always strange. Never terribly listenable.

A departure. A vast and loud departure.
