My Interests

The meaning of life? Art. Sexy French or Italian movies where everybody smokes. Walking around Manhattan is an experience to savor. Getting lost in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The astonishing people of Tibet and their struggle to survive under occupation (It's pretty brutal, folks). BOOKS. FANTASTIC MUSIC. GREAT MOVIESstuff that rips your heart out, or causes arguments with your friends. The Bard. Cinema and filmmaking, European history, painting and art history, German Expressionism. Eastern Philosophy and BUDDHISM, Existentialism. The New Yorker. Lou Reed. The World Almanac. BBC America. Camille Paglia. Being nostalgic for vinyl records. Listening to moody Post-Punk on an overcast day. Contemplating the fact that one episode of "The Sopranos" is better than most movies playing in theaters. ALSO: gay cowboy movies starring Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal, the cinematic legacies of Jude Law & Ioan Gruffudd, the Santa Barbara Wine Country, good Mexican food, that tall brown haired guy on "The Office", Anderson Cooper, did I mention Ioan Gruffudd?...Look at some art now... .. Ever get that Surreal feeling?...
