Just finished Pop. 1280. both hyper-violent/old-west/southern/slice of life novels from my brother for xmas. what gives? Just finished Adverbs by Daniel Handler (aka lemony snicket) AGAIN. amazing shorts for adults about love in all its myriad forms. plus all the letters ever strung together by Gabriel Garcia Marquez in sentence form. Also working my way through Haruki Murakami's catalog. currently: short story collection. and check out *Jesus Land* by Julia Scheers, a former schoolmate/neighbor. Harrowing and touching stuff, well written.
