Deeds not Words or DNW is a Schoelkopf family project cycling around Acid Jazz, Funk und Smooth Jazz.Joachim who is behind this web presence started to play guitar with 10 and bass with 15. After playing with many bands and artist in Switzerland he initiated 1992 a PC based recording project which resulted in founding "Dependance Recording" studio together with Matthias Müller. 1996 Indie production of first cd release of "deeds not words" together with Stefan and Esther, which was subsequently distributed by KIR Music. Later, members of DNW took part in many other projects and bands. Joachim and Stefan are mainly aktive with the Groove band "Euphoric Mind", (formerly known as you-phoric!) as seen in the song list. Stefans performs also as "Schoel"in the domain of Swiss dialect rock. Joachim is also a gifted luthier who built many of his guitars and basses himself.2008 reactivation of the recording studio and working on new songs for DNW.
