PK Identity (PKID) was founded on March 14th, 2008 as a ministry that is endeavoring to minister, encourage, offer healing and deliverance to Preacher’s Kids (PKs) from across the nation and beyond.
Although, PKs are what we commonly refer to as our “targeted audience,†this ministry is not exclusively for PKs. Our general focus is on the offspring of Church leadership as well, even 2nd and 3rd generation. We are endeavoring to unify the children, grandchildren, and step-children of Bishops, Overseers, Pastors, Elders, Ministers, Evangelists, Deacons, and musicians, people of all ages and ethnic groups, genders, denominations and faiths.
PK Identity stands as a ministry for PKs by PKs! At PKID we realize our Identity as a Preacher's Kid, but just because we are born as a Preacher's Kid does not mean that we are DEFINED as a Preacher's Kid! The Mantle is not something that we can deny, but as PKs we realize there is MUCH more to us than our genetic relationship with our parents and grandparents. We are all fearfully and wonderfully made Individually! We are IDENTIFIED, but NEVER DEFINED!
Our desire within PKID is to build a close support mechanism in the body of Christ that will empower PKs to destroy these man-made barriers that have separated our forefathers and consequently the body for so long. We are collectively determined to teach individuals how to live a life that will glorify God and that is an example for others to follow. This is a ministry with a heart and call for evangelism, deliverance and restoration as we come together in fellowship and relationship.There is no better way to connect than to connect with others just like you!--------------------
