Albums and singles
Lars Muhl - the musician
The young Lars Muhl grew a passion for playing the piano and demonstrated great musical talent. And in his late teens, he became active in the musical scene of Aarhus.
With the band "Daisy", Muhl toured Germany, Norway, Sweden and Israel. The band’s first single “Lucifer/Zimmerman†became the single of the week on Radio Luxembourg. The band dissolved in 1972 but was reformed in 1975, where Peter Thorup produced the band’s only album.
With his next group "Warm Guns", Muhl achieved hit list placements in Australia, Germany, Sweden and the Benelux countries. "Warm Guns" split up in 1984 and Muhl began to work as a solo artist. At the same time he also had great success in writing songs for other artists, such as Lis Sørensen. Furthermore, one of his most popular songs “One More Minute†is covered by more than 20 solo artists throughout the world.
In 1999 Muhl left show business after more than 33 years. As a farewell he released the compilation album "Till The End Of Time – Best Of Lars Muhl" which included a bonus cd "The Bedroom Tapes" with never before released demo songs.

Lars Muhl - the writer
Lars Muhl has had a great interest in spirituality since he was very young. Already as a 10 year old, Muhl experienced glimpses of another reality. The shock, following the sudden death of his younger sister, caused some very painfull kundalini-like experiences, which gave access to the ethereal worlds together with a hypersensitive insight into other people’s pain. Muhl was in a deep crisis and began to write about his experiences.
A turning point came when Muhl was 15 and received Hazrat Inayat Khan’s "Gayan, Nirtan, Vadan", anonymously, in the post. The book became the start of a lifelong esoteric study.
Concurrently with his music, Muhl studied the world’s religions and esoteric knowledge. But he did always find it hard to combine his deep spiritual side with life in show business which is much about image and promoting oneself. Even though Muhl knew much about spirituality on an intellectual level, he had not integrated the knowledge into his life.
In 1996 he was struck down by an unexplained illness, which neither doctors nor alternative therapists were able to diagnose. For three years he lay in bed without being able to move or think straight.
Through a close friend’s intervention, however, Muhl was put in touch with a seer who, via the telephone, brought him back to life. That was the start of a completely new existence and the beginning of that quest he has so grippingly written about in "The Grail trilogy" ("The Seer", "The Magdalene", and "The Grail"). The trilogy is now released in an English version called "The O Manuscript".
