Born & raised in North Newark New Jersey, attending Newark public schools as a youngan and living on the most dangerous/ crime driven streets in Essex County, Profane evolved into the raw aggressive street rapper he is today. Attributed were the teachings of his old skool Puerto Rican parents, both father and mother are full blood - straight de la isla del encanto - boriquas. They instilled the knowledge and basic instict of survival in urban society to overcome the obsticles faced as a young Hispanic in the hood. Profane from being a resident of Newark all his life has come to recognize individuals in which he's crossed paths with in his travels that have established themselves within the music industry that Profane is drawn to. A fan of rap/ hip-hop since a kid, Profane grew up with hip hop culture deeply imbedded in almost every aspect of his existance. Today, having teamed up with Ricanotti Entertainment's RABS, also a Newark native, commits to producing only a certain brand of hip hop... THE REAL - RAW RAP! Profane has been featured in past mixtapes with fellow aspiring Newark based rap artists such as Big O aka Dun Deel.
