About Me

Born in New Orleans with family from Rayne, Jennings and Denham Springs LA, I grew up in Mississippi and the panhandle of Florida. I have everything money can't buy and would not trade places with anyone. In high school, running the football and pumping Iron kept me too tired to get into trouble. I was in the choir but never really thought about music until much later. The demos on this site represent about 10% of my recorded catalog. I write all music and lyrics and play and sing all parts...one track at a time. My equipment is very basic and well...old. With one mic for drums and vocals in a paneled bedroom studio...it has to be about the music. Working alone may not be ideal but I do get to keep the creative control. I do wish I would have listened to my mom and taken the piano lessons. I kick myself for not learning how to read and understand music on the page. Everything I do is by ear and that can be a real limitation. In my opinion the best music was made between 1965-1985. The whole world was different too. We can't go back but we are still free to write and create new classics. The pendulum always comes back.
