Well get comfortable guys, here is my story so far...For starters I am 1 of 2... Yes i am a twin, so look out peeps theres 2 of me lol... Were not identical & totally the opposite... I love "GROOVES" my twinnie loves "BARBIES" how wrong can it get... Think of the "BIG HEAVY TOONS" we could have if you was into my "SH*T" !!! Is that ok sis, now ive given you a mention can i move on to "ME ME ME" lol...
bigoo.wsFrom the age of 3-16yrs i was a member of "The Doris Holford Stage School" based in Sth London. There i studdied Tap, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Acrobatics, Singing, Acting & Performing Arts. I was doing as many as 9 lessons a week & also had to study "French" as all Ballet Exams were conducted in French (uuurrrggghhh)!!! If that was'nt enuff i also had to attend dreaded "Elocution Lessons" coz i was common as muck... lol.!!! I travelled all over the UK entering competitions & took part in many Stage Shows, Performances & even Pantomime over the Xmas Season. Winning Medals, Trophies & certificates. It was "TUFF" My fortay was "Tap Dancing" i was often dragged out of lessons by my headteacher into other classes to show other pupils how to do certain steps correctly... You could in deed call me a "Master at TAP" Fred Astaire would have been proud... !!! Any free time i had away from School & Dance lessons, were spent at "The Ice Rink" Streatham & Richmond, where i used to spend at least 5 evenenigs a week with my crew lol. I was so in demand back in them dayz, i don't know how i found the time to fit it all in... I must have been "Super Fit" A star was in the making, but not yet named "JUICYLICIOUS" as yet, more like a pain in the ARSE back then lol... !!!
bigoo.wsA the age of 16yrs i discovered "ROCK 2 ROCK" radio with the help of my little pastel coloured "GHETTO BLASTER" a wire coathanger, silver foil & a piece of earth wire lol & heard my first taste of "Rare Groove & Real Soul Music" from there my passion for the "2 STEP" begun. Big respects to Tony P & Mistri. I bought my 1st ever import 12" La La Hathaway-Baby Don't Cry, & went on to meet my true homies who i hold responsible for making me spend all my hard earnt cash every week: Simes, Mo & dj 279(numbers)-Jingles-Tooting, Harold "that boy is big"T-Dancefloor Records-Norbury, Steve-Record Corner-Balham, Danny-Bluebird-Streatham, Mr?-Brixton Ungrd Station-Brixton. Thanks guys you taught me a lot & helped me build the "Serious Record Collection" i have today... !!!From the age of 18yrs i got involved with my 1st "Sound System" "LUV VIBRATION SOUND" which showed me the real true meaning of the famous "HOUSE PARTY" Nuff luv to Senior A, Micheal, Mathew, Jason. I then hooked up with my ol pal dj 279(numbers) hit the clubs in true "Hip Hop Style" & went on to rave @:STARLIGHT-Paddington, PIG-Holborn, SUBTERANIA-Notting Hill, THE WAG CLUB-Cntrl London, GOSSIPS-Cntrl Lon, GULLIVERS-Cntrl Lon, HILL-TOP-Out in the sticks lol, Ealing Boulvrd-Ealing, SUSSEX-Norbury, GALLIANO-Chertsey, LITHO STUDIOS-Battersea, FRIDGE-Brixton, BAR RUMBA-Cntrl Lon, ZIGGI'S-Streatham, DANCE WICKED-Under the Arches Vauxhall, NOTTING HILL & BIRMINGHAM CARNIVALS. Nuff luv to my old raving crew: Sarah, Lindsey, Celia, Michelle, Darren P, Charlie Wilson, Nigel Samms, Dolvin, Fabian, Senior A, Steven Heinz, Marlon, Owen & Wren R.I.P we missed you my friend & your antics... !!!
bigoo.wsThen the year 2000 came along "The Millenium" i joined my 1st "Radio Station" Groove fm which i spent about a year & met my homegirl "Dnyce-Rampage Crew"!!! Got back into "Sound System" & spent 3yrs with "Daddy Lover Sound" where i rigged up the set @ Notting Hill Carnival for "Sirlloyd & Crew" & played Weddings, Christenings, Wine Bars & Clubs all over London & even took part in my 1st ever "Sound Clash" in Ipswhich... Damn the guys even let me drive the truck some days with the sound on board... lol Large up TG/JCKP, Sanki, Jamel. I also helped out with some "sound Engineering" work at "Illusions" in Streatham & "Club Le Fez" in Lewisham. I then hooked up with "Rapture Sound System" & rigged up the set in various Clubs & played Outdoor Events right across London... !!! Large up Junior Mac & LG Brown.
bigoo.wsIn 2001 i joined "LIGHTNING 90.8fm" & became part of the real "BRIXTON BROADCASTING CORPORATION" & spent 5yrs doing Drivetime & the infamous "JUICY'S SUGARFREE SUNDAYS" & thats where i got recognized for bussin some "BIG BEATS 2STEP GROOVES & SOUL" on a Sunday afternoon... !!!
