Apache Cleo are a San Francisco based DJ/ Producer duo, comprised of Dada Nite and Twisted Scissor.Successful DJ's on their own, they came together with an appreciation for one another's musical style. Exchanging music led to working on music, which led to full production and desire to cross-pollenate various genres.Using dance music as a jumping off point to explore, Apache Cleo appropriate samples and songs from all genres to weave a new incarnation of sound.They approach music with a collective goal in mind: the creation of a unique auditory experience. Apache Cleo rely on pre-production and preparation of sounds, which allow them to approach their performance much in the same way a jazz musician does improvisation with scales.In the end, the audience is left with an experience that coasts on the boarders of disco, house, 70's Prog Rock, Dirty Hip Hop, and IDM; hand-stiched to create an unavoidable dance party.
