Killed by Death!

About Me

I've lived in a few random places on earth, but mainly grew up on a tiny island on the East Coast in the town of Newport, RI.
I've been tattooing for about 4.5 years. I was taught by my talented friend Eric at The Edge Tattoo in Pawtucket, RI. I worked with some amazing people during my two year stay there, including my two best friends, Joe and Pat .
In September of 2005, Joe , Jackie and I moved to Honolulu, Hawaii. I made some great friends, and I fell in love with a certain someone . Sue and I moved to Portland, Oregon to try our luck in the pines.
I'm currently working at:
Living Art Tattoo in Gresham, OR. My hours are:
Mondays & Wednesdays: 12:00-8:00
Fridays & Saturdays: 12:00-9:00
Anyways, feel free to get in touch with me if:
1) you like using big words, or
2) you want a bad-assed tattoo, or
3) you like constructing pointless lists, or
4) your obnoxious punk band needs a guitarist, or
5) you forgot the name of that actor who was in that movie, or
6) you have my keys. I need those.

My Interests

Tattooing, Art in general, Politics, Religion, Philosophy, Cognitive Science, Darwinism, Mathematics, Gaming.

I'd like to meet:

Smart, like-minded folk who spend too much time in front of a computer. Or, if you want a tattoo, natch.
AOL Instant Messenger: Coffeeeee

Music:

Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, At the Drive In, The Smiths, Outkast, Metallica, Brand New, Tool, Dan The Automator, Bad Religion, Diecast, Dropkick Murphys, Suicidal Tendencies, Jane's Addiction, Rancid, Lamb of God, Cradle of Filth, Slayer, NOFX, Iggy Pop, Talking Heads...
Too many bands to list individually. Mostly metal, metalcore, punk, hardcore, hip hop, indie, alt rock, etc.

Movies:

Mostly anything by Terry Gilliam, the Coen Brothers, Bruce Lee, Yuen Woo Ping, Stanley Kubrik, Martin Scorcese, Jim Jarmusch, and Quentin Tarantino. I also love the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises, Casablanca, and most Horror, Sci Fi, Mystery, and Fantasy sort of movies.
Oh, and porn.

Television:

The Tick, Star Trek TNG, Spongebob Squarepants, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Twin Peaks, News Radio, Seinfeld, the Simpsons, Most Extreme Elimination Challenge, and Farscape.
A lot of these shows are off the air. I haven't really watched a lot of tv in the last few years. Reality television is the intellectual equivalent of evesdropping, i.e. it blows.

Books:

Tom Robbins (Skinny Legs and All, Still Life of Woodpecker, Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates)
John Irving (A Prayer for Owen Meany, Hotel New Hampshire, The World According to Garp)
Joseph Heller (Catch-22) --This is my favorite book.
Fyodor Dostoevsky (The Brothers Karamazov, Crime and Punishment)
George R.R. Martin (the Song of Ice and Fire series)
Raymond Chandler, Dasheill Hammet, Neil Gaiman...
Truth be told, I read mostly non-fiction. Interests incluse history, philosophy, cog sci, darwinism, politics, religion, science, physics. Jared Diamond, Howard Zinn, Michael Pollan, Daniel Dennett...

Heroes:

The rainbow... Bill Hicks, Jim Henson, Epicurus, Howard Roark, and the rock'n'roll trifecta of Ozzy, Lemmy, and Iggy.
