Remedy For Doubt

Remedy For Doubt, a hard hitting, four-piece band playing out of Timmins, Ontario, are quickly establishing themselves as a group with the potential to go places in the Canadian music industry. Formed in October, 2007, founding members, Andrew Sutherland and David Bigeau began writing songs and started the search for an eventual drummer and bassist. It was not until December of that year that they found current drummer, Eryk Pitt. It was then when most of the material was conceived for what would be their debut album. In May 2008, Martin Rocheleau finalized the roster and finally, the band was complete.
For the next several months the boys strictly wrote and rehearsed their material. In August of 2008, they were ready to record their debut album. A month later and satisfied with the songs, they sent it out to get mastered by Juno nominated Joao Carvalho (Sloan, Alexisonfire). Since recording, the group has been playing shows in their hometown and nearby towns. They have opened for acts such as: Flatlined, Blurt, Winslow, Head Down and Ten Second Epic. In mid December, they will be having their cd release party for the debut cd, "I Used To Know Someone Else Than This Man".
