About Me

I grew up in Jamestown, NY, where I still live, and I've played music pretty much all my life. I have had the great opportunity to play in good bands and share the stage with bluegrass greats like Vassar Clements and Sierra Hull. My first band was with the Blue Grasshoppers with my family. We recorded two CDs and were together for about 5 years. In the seven years I was in Big Leg Emma I was able to open for Sam Bush, Old Crow Medicine Show, Donna the Buffalo and Rusted Root; travel up and down the east coast and record on numerous CDs. Now I am in the Steve Johnson Band and we're about to release our debut CD "New Beginings". Many of my friends and family are musicians so I've been able to play lots of great shows with them.
