BOB Cooper

BOB Cooper is the alternative-constructive person of a selfless existence. You can refer to Twin Peaks to catch the dialectical meaning of BOB Cooper.

This page aims at sharing diverse pieces (call them "projects"' if you like) I enacted (composition, instrumentation, mixing, etc...). I play acoustic and electric instruments, explore electronic soundscapes, sample any sound that can get a life through re-creation, compose acousmatic pieces in the tradition of "musique concrète", do some remixes, and scores for shows, performances ... Well, it's meant to extend a "bordercircle" personality, so don't expect any kind of explicit superficial coherence. Live performances alternate between spatial diffusion, Instrumental and/or laptop set, hardware fun, etc...

I also play guitar, bass, and electronic in some bands (Cheeky, Canned Vide, r.i.p Clara Venus), work with Bubbledoll VJ on a Cine-re-mix (fetichist homage to the mysteries of Twin Peaks) and study electroacoustic music with composer Christine Groult.

Guiding my sonic researches, I also have deep interests in "mind and minds" (their perceptions and their creations, from the perspective of phenomenology, psychology, neurosciences, epistemology, philosophy, anthropology, and obviously, of life), though, as a non-dualist arguer, I also like bodies you know.
These are just terms, because they're all the same in the end. WE ALL ARE FROM A DIFFERENT SAMENESS, interleaved and interlived...
