Helmut Bruger plays with bands like Brooklyn Bridge, Ray Blue, Gary Wiggens, Fuasi Abdul Khaliq, Stevie Woods, Chris Bennett, Craig Burton, Ingrid Arthur, Nina Hill, Marisa Turner, Hattie St. John and Rudy Stevenson.
In 2002 he founded the Helmut Bruger Trio with Michael Clifton on drums and Axel Obert on bass. Now and again Desney Bailey, a great singer from New York, joins the trio.
