EMERGE APRIL 30TH - MAY 2nD 2009 IN PHILADELPHIA www.emergephilly.comEmerge, the LGBT fundraiser weekend created by women for women in 2006, explodes back on the national LGBT scene April 30th through May 2nd bigger than ever. This will be a weekend you will not want to miss! This year’s party will be unlike any previous Emerge. Think new organizers, bigger performers and an emphasis on creating an inclusive, diverse and unpretentious all out party that will leave you speechless!Produced by the Sapphire Fund during Equality Forum weekend! Sapphire Fund was established in 2002 to support the efforts of organizations contributing to the health and well-being of Philadelphia's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community and those who support them. Sapphire Fund identifies organizations that advance the LGBT community through education, advocacy, arts and cultural opportunities; in addition to HIV/AIDS research, education, prevention and treatment. Sapphire Funds 2009 beneficiaries are Foyer of Philadelphia

, and National Adoption Center/Adoption Center of Delaware Valley

Emerge is taking a new path for a whole new fundraising and entertainment experience!Emerge's 3rd Annual Black and White Party will be held on April 30th at Voyeur Nightclub
located at 1221 Saint James Street in the gayborhood. Women from all of the area will be dancing to the beats of DJ Cozmic Cat, voted Philly's Best DJ 5 times, and local legend, DJ Andi until 3 A.M. DJ Rosie fresh from B-more will be warming up the main floor starting at 9pm! Voyeur offers mezzanie level with lavish seating for those who want to get a little more intimate.The closing party will be held on May 2ndd at PYT in the Piazza Right in the middle of the SundayOut action! DJs KiT, BeFree, Jivey, JD to name a few will be spinning at this hot spot from 2p.m. to 5p.m. Join women fresh from SundayOut for drink specials.
