About Me

"The four-man group Henderson brings to Indianapolis a sound that has yet to be heard on the Indie-rock scene. As soon as the band takes the stage it is obvious they are a force to be reckoned with. Leader Douglas Henderson (vocals/guitar) with Kerry (drums), Percy (bass), and Luke Hanlin (guitar/bells/mandolin/accordion) combine to perform music that is nothing short of brilliant. No two songs sound alike, the lyrics provoking a different meaning from every member of the audience, giving the band the innate ability to leave the crowd wanting more.Henderson's unique sound mixes the standard electric guitars, bass, and drums with the eclectic mandolin, bells, and accordion. But the complicated musical patterns are only part of the whole. When Doug's powerful vocals come through it is enough to make the jaw drop and the skin tingle.The eccentric band members are impossible to look away from. They command the attention of the entire crowd from the moment they step onto the stage to the moment they step off.
