Biography
John Erikson is a solo performer, who has been playing live in New England for almost twenty years. He is recognized for his extremely strong vocals, with amazing range, covering everybody in rock from Daughtry, Chris Cornell, and Shinedown, to Fuel, Maroon 5 and Journey, as well as funk, hip hop and R & B tunes. His influences include Fuel, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and in particular, Chris Cornell. His cover band, BLOCKHEAD, has played in venues all over New England for the last ten years.
John's original music is available at his Website: http://www.blockheadrocks.com/merchandise.html
Sadly, Gene Dozier, the founder of Renaissance City Records passed away recently, along with all hopes of bigger things from the recording industry. Gene was a friend, a fellow musician, artist, and he believed in the music - which will always be appreciated.
Gene, you'll always be remembered in our hearts.
Discography VENT 2006 Tracks have been played on local radio stations, including 94 WHJY in Providence (www.whjy.com)
