About Me

Born in Los Angeles, raised in and around San Gabriel Valley, currently living in Norwich, England.
I've been made redundant from my job, and I've been conditionally accepted onto the PGCE course at the UEA. I'll be teaching RE in Secondary School. I'm through working in an office.
Work continues apace with Jacob's Ladder, the band I've been practicing with. It's amazing music but I'm still pulling my hair out trying to learn all their songs.

Check out our MySpace site! Listen to We All Love You, it's the best song ever written.
Ok, so it's not the best song ever written, but it's the best song you've heard in a while...

MYSPACE - JACOB'S LADDER

Currently Reading:
Learning to Teach Religious Education in the Secondary School; Edited by Andrew Wright and Ann-Marie Brandom
Last Book Read:
Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser

Currently Spinning:
Bill Evans Trio: Sunday at the Village Vanguard
Top Gear Anthems: The Greatest Ever Driving Songs
Sams Town by The Killers
Last Movies Seen (and where)
Pirates Of The Caribbean 3 at the Odeon. Very good, perfect summer entertainment. Muddy, confusing in parts, could have used a little more plot exposition, could have cut down on the sea battle at the end, could have seen more of Keith Richards. But these are small(ish) points, they didn't drop the ball at the final hurdle (vis a vis Spidey 3). Pirates 4? I can wait. Indy 4 is filming now I think, that should (hopefully) tide me over for a while.
Zodiac at the Odeon. Masterpiece, David Fincher's best movie? Maybe. Best movie I've seen in the last 12 months? Definately.
