About Me

Clean Water Action is a non-profit citizens' group working to protect Michigan's environment. Clean Water Action has more than 170,000 members in Michigan and a national network of campaign organizers, local groups and allied organizations who are working to build power for the environment. We have a 34-year track record of organizing successful campaigns to elect pro-environment candidates and to win on key issues affecting people, water, waste, toxins and other environmental and public health issues. Our core mission is to promote environmental action at the grassroots community level in order to make communities' voices heard throughout Michigan.
