Here goes nothing. For starters my name is Misty. I live in Roswell, Georgia with my sister and a house full of critters. Some stuff you should know about me:
I am an animal lover. I don’t wear fur, fur trim, and when at all possible I don’t use leather products. I only buy products that have “This product not tested on animal”. Unlike most people against fur, I do eat meat and I don’t agree with dumping buckets of blood on people, however, the animals need their fur more than us, and how often do you see a bunny in the wild wearing mascara?
I grew up around music and music is a part of my everyday life. Whether I’m up in front of people at karaoke, doing My Space karaoke, or singing softly to myself, there is always music in my heart. I love all types of music, but I have to say Country is my favorite.
I have a huge respect for Past, present, and future American Soldiers. My grandfather was a solder for 30+ years – they literally had to throw him out. He fought in WWII, was POW/MIA for 2 and half years, tortured and beaten. And yet he still kept going back. I know what the soldiers go through and most of them have families just like you and I, yet they continue to put themselves on the front line. THAT is the definition of a hero.
People always ask me the question “Are you famous”. My response: no. I am a celebrity whore. There is no other way to put it. I love going to events and meeting famous people. I love meeting new celebrities and becoming fans of people. It’s also amazing to see how real or fake people are – and just to be able to say “I met so n so” when their name comes into play. Nine times out of ten the first words out of my mouth to them are “Hi, do you have a My Space”. Oh, and FYI, every celebrity on my list or in my celebrity category are in fact REAL.
My sister is my best friend. I moved out of my parents house when I was 20. When I first moved in it was my ex, me, my sister and her husband. Shortly after my sister got divorced, I broke up with my guy, then it was just the two girls living in the house. Yes, sometimes it is hard too keep up with everything, but I wouldn’t change anything for nothing. We have grown a bond over the last year that goes way beyond just sisters. “Sisters Always, Friends Forever”
I wear my heart on my sleeve and my mind in my mouth. I am EXTREMLY bold and opinionated, and I tend to say stuff that catches people off guard or just plain pisses them off. I don’t take crap from anyone, and if I see something is wrong, I have no problem with putting you in your place. Yet, I am a kind, generous, sweet person. I can be your best friend, or your worst enemy – the choice is all up to you.
I have just recently renewed my faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There was a point in time where I questioned whether or not there really was a God, because there was so much hate and despair not only in my life, but in the world. With the power of friends, family, event that have happened, good music and an uplifting concert, I am positive that there is a God, and He is my Savior
