Griffin Jackson has a soulful yet sweet and smooth tenor voice that blends influence of Blues, Classical, Gospel and Jazz into a contemporary R&B album. Griffin Jackson's self-titled debut effort takes an introspective stride with spiritual themes and stories of relationship struggles. Griffin Jackson is no novice to music and performing. Since childhood, Griffin Jackson has studied under professional vocal coaches. He holds a minor in music from The University of Texas at Arlington and also performed as a background vocalist for various Gospel and R&B professional recording artist. When asked what Griffin Jackson wants his audience to get from his debut release; "I hope people can relate to my project and feel the depth of my heart and soul through each note. Every song on the album presents a situation I've been through. I'm still alive and well, so you can make it too." Today, not many male Hip-Hop and R&B artist are singing about inner struggles and issues real men deal with. Griffin Jackson is taking a chance by presents himself as an open book for the audience to see.
