I wasn’t interested in cooking until I was about thirty-six. Growing up, I never even helped my mother in the kitchen. In fact, when I was twenty-three and married for the first time, I had to call home to ask my mother how to make mashed potatoes. Basically, I learned and acquired a love for cooking by watching the Food Network. Some of my favorite chefs are Rachael Ray, Giada De Laurentiis (Everyday Italian), and Paula Deen. I love to prepare a wide variety of cuisines, but my favorite things to cook are pasta dishes.
