Luxe

About Me

Luxe is a band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Raised in a former steel mill-working, meat & potatoes-eating town, and fed on a diet of mundane rock music and "alternative" labels, Luxe revolted from the guitar rock scene and decided to pursue something a little more flamboyant, as well as musically intricate, danceable, and uplifting.
Augmented by the addition of Ray Santiago (formerly of the Pittsburgh band "Venus In Furs", and the band "Birth-Box") in 2009, the band has taken on yet another new chapter. Ray has brought with him his talent for atmospherics, and his amazing programming, songwriting, and visual abilities.
Fueled and inspired by groups such as Giorgio Moroder, Goldfrapp, David Bowie, Cocteau Twins, and Boards Of Canada, Luxe forge their own brand of electro-disco that keeps the blood pumping and the feet shuffling ever closer to the dance floor.
The first Luxe album tentatively titled "Mirrorball" is near completion, and the first set of live shows will be scheduled in the very near future.
