About Me

Started playing bass and guitar after listening to Motley Crue & Guns 'n' Roses (well, you've got to start somewhere), from there to Aerosmith, then to The Rolling Stones (still the greatest Rock and Roll Band in the world) and from there I continued back in time to the blues, first Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf and then all the way back to the Delta.During this time I played rhythm/lead/slide guitar in The Manchester Pennydrops and jammed around with a couple of bands (whatever happened to the boys from Sheffield Uni?). Sort of stopped playing for about 10 years but picked it up again after going to the Cognac Blues Festival which inspired me to learn it all over again, this time sticking with the blues.Unfortunately I am not much of a singer so it's all instrumentals unless I can find a vocalist.I also play electric and I'm looking to put a band together.....I sort of have this vision of early Fleetwood Mac (with classic blues, original blues and a bit of souly stuff) crossed with Exile on Main Street (without too much of the country thing) passed through The Allman Brothers added to John Mayall's Bluesbreakers (with Clapton) simmered in a pot of classic blues and served with a generous helping of soul.Chris is now playing with The 2:19 Blues Band on MySpace check out my top friend below
