I am a classical/country/jazz/pop singer with a penchant for rambling while the guys set up. I'm still really new to this singer/songwriter world, a little less new to the singer...piano world but I never played and sang at the same time. Gee its hard. I figured if I am singing an 8 page Donizetti aria.... in Italian or whatever I can have the accompanist but when all you really need are variations of a block chord I guess its unneccesary. I do LOVE classical music especiaally Debussy, Fauré, Handel, Bach and Saint-Saens. I can sing a few songs in Zulu and lived in South Africa for about 2 years and have traveled quite a bit I also adore Josh Ritter, Bonnie Raitt, Patti Griffin, Linda Rothberg, MIKA! and I am still a musical theatre dork. I played Louisa in The Fantasticks, Fiona in Brigadoon, and have appeared numeroud times on the Lincoln center stage, Carnegie the NJPAC and Trenton War Memorial. I also like to go camping and eat Mango's and 50% of my shows will probably include an appearance by my nephew and grandma. I am currently on the move to Florida where I will be earning my master in voice perf. so classical music is once again taking over my life, woohoo.
