Everyones Uncle

I figured I needed to revise this section since many people who don't know me have been visiting the page. Without writting a novel about my life i will give you the highlights. At 17 i moved out of my home and learned many life leasons. Somehow I finished highschool and decided the best thing would be to start over. So, I moved to Lake Tahoe California shortly after graduating and dove head first into the extreme sports phenomenon that has hit my generation. After living there a few years I started meeting many local pro athelets and the one having the biggest impact was Jim Rippey. Jim is an amazing snowboarder, sledneck, and basejumper. I was given the opertunity to know Jim because we share the same belief in our Lord Jesus Christ. Anyways, Jim and many other of my friends like Guzzy, Randal P., and Jeff to name a few have helped me grow in my faith and have pushed me to do things i never thought i could do. It opened soooo many doors for enjoying this life that God has given me. It has shown me a fullfilling life without the rockstar lifestyle and drugs. Unfortunately on Aug. 21, 2004 i was invovled in a very serious skydiving accident that killed a friend of mine and put me in the hospital for a total of 3 months. After loosing my leg below the knee and recovering for 2 years I am heathly. Dispite my accident I have started skydiving again and about a year after my accident did my first base jump with Jim. I do struggle with the decision to get back into those extreme type sports, but for now that is my decision. Not only did i get back into all the sports that I have enjoyed in the past but my accident has given me a Drive to push ten times as hard. So in short, what I really want is to find my identity in Christ and to be known as a young guy who really loves the Lord. Other than that i just like havin' fun.
