Keith LeVoy is recognized throughout the United States, Europe and in the UK for his ability to warm the hearts of adoring fans with rich vocals and lyrical wonder. This songwriter and recording artist produces deep insight and hope from true life experiences endured by not only LeVoy himself but, the lives well known to all generations. His unique ability to "crossover" lyrically has touched the hearts of fans in both Christian and secular genres. "It's amazing what a little harmony will do when we can all just simply listen."
Born in Bakersfield, CA, LeVoy grew up in a warm, loving home filled with adventurous stories of his father’s life in entertainment. Though Keith was proud of his aerialist father, he wasn't exactly cut out for the circus and expressed interest in music instead.
In 1984, LeVoy picked up his first guitar and a whole new world opened up in his life. Not long after, LeVoy learned from his mother that a local band was looking for a guitarist and would be holding auditions later that week. He nailed it with only a year under his strap. Though the music styling was a bit different, LeVoy embraced it and began a new journey without ever looking back. He began touring at an early age opening shows for bands such as Circle Jerks, Night Ranger and even REM until everything came to a crashing halt in 1987.
After recovering from 2 major accidents within 4 months, Keith settled down and started a family. With a few years of road miles and blistering loud music behind, Keith found a new kind of lyric and harmony that was influenced by the day to day grindstone of his career and the joys inspired by his friends and family. A friend introduced him to a different sound, a nu-folk duo from Southern California. The rich harmonies and crisp tones of Lowen & Navarro brought to life the inspiration he was looking for. Keith was finally able to turn down the volume and reflect on his roots.
Years have passed and Keith LeVoy has now entertained thousands throughout the western United States and shared the stage with talent such as Joe Nichols, Kevin Cameron, Johnny Hiland, Reggie Bannister, John McGill, Paulette Carlson/Highway 101, Black Hawk, Michael Sweet and many more. Some of his more memorable venues have been entertaining at The Fender Center in Corona, CA. and various Fox Theatre venues throughout CA, The Visalia Veterans Day Committee as well as many churches and coffee houses. LeVoy's most heartfelt performances have been honoring our veterans over the years.
Now residing in the Seattle area, LeVoy and his family are making new friends and influences who share the same dream... Just to bring healing, happiness and harmony to those who need to hear it most.
"For Your Time" is one of his more popular tracks that had been aired only on the East Coast and over seas, is now hitting the airwaves across the United States while in collaboration with and under the promotional direction of Jennifer Johnson. This beautiful track is also being considered to represent the new national memorial.
A Word from Keith...
A song is a story, the story is my life and my life is an open book. All I have ever wanted to do is make music and bring a little harmony to life. Keeping it real. The song of the common man brings truth and reality to the hearts of many but, the lyric of the heart brings beauty to all... And only then, a tribute is born.
"For Your Time" is a dedication to all past, present & future veterans who have served our country. Without you... I could only imagine.
Special thanks to Reggie Bannister and John McGill for their beautiful contribution in the studio and sharing the stage. To Russell and Mary Wells for making it all possible! I don't have the words.
